Kenyan Vera Mung’asia aka Vera Sidika has come out to address the claims that she had procured abortion in her previous relationship. This topic came during a question and answer session with her fans on Instagram.

A fan sought the truth over the allegations that Vera aborted Otile Brown’s baby. While responding to this, the socialite indicated that she had never been pregnant before. She termed the allegations false.

In her explanation, Vera cited that she had always been so cautious, always on contraceptives when in relationship to avoid unplanned pregnancy. She went further to justify her statement, citing that she loves children so much that she could not get pregnant only to abort the baby.

Asked if Brown Mauzo’s pregnancy is her first, she replied;

“Yes, the first time in my life to ever get pregnant. I have heard rumours that an ex said I aborted. This is not true. I am obsessed with babies. I love kids so much. I love kids so much. I would never get pregnant just to abort. When single, I take precautions. When in a serious relationship, I am always on contraceptives to avoid getting pregnant. “

Vera was accused of procuring abortion in 2018 after her ex boyfriend Otile Brown composed a song titled titled ‘Niacheni’. In the song, Otile talked about a lady who she accused of aborting her baby. The fact that he was dating Vera made the public assume it was her who Otile was referring to in the song.

Otile asked the lady to stop carrying herself like nothing happened after aborting his child. Part of the song’s lyrics cited;

“Usijifanye eti hujui, Tatizo mimba yangu ulioitoa, Mimi niacheni msione nipo kimya mwenzangu nina mengi. Wacha nilie na moyo wangu maneno maneno mimi sipendi. I will do better.”

Kenyan singer Wilson Radido better known as Willy Paul has finally come out to explain reasons behind his unexpected switch from gospel to secular. His switch comes at a time many have raised questions about the kind of music ‘gospel singers’ produce and their lifestyle in general.

A good number of those who started in gospel her shockingly crossed the floor to secular. His explanation comes a time when Kevin Bahati, another gospel singer also seem to be on his way to secular.

The Mama song hitmaker has been making headlines after he recorded himself in a video smoking cigarette. The picture uploaded on his social media accounts on Friday, 11th June night is also a clear show he is moving to secular.

Well, should Bahati decide to cross the floor, he will be following Willy Paul’s footsteps. His move has been questioned by many. While setting up records clear, Paul started by reporting to his fans that the move was taken based on depression he was going through.

Through a very long post he shared on his social media platforms, Willy Paul cited hatred from those he thought would be there for him. Part of his statement read;

”Some of you ask me why I left the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.. and even call me names because I nolonger praise Jesus in my songs.. according to them I’m so evil and everything bad. Those are the same people that fought me nikiwa upande wa Yesu. Reasons as to why I left. He went on to add that he was a top artist in the gospel industry, sadly, his haters did not see that. This act broke him further, left him depressed, situation he had to battle with for four good months.

The singer cited that it reached a point where he had nothing to feed his family with. He lamented that everything he went through was never right for anyone serving God.

It was at this point that Willy decided to try his luck in the secular industry, a step he says he is not regretting. He reported that he is currently stable and more importantly, he chose to be real to himself and to his fans.

Many artists have moved from gospel to secular and vice versa, all looking for better ground to earn a living while others are moving to for different reasons. Gospel singer Size 8 is among the big names who have taken a similar step.

Nairobi City based controversial preacher Rev Lucy Natasha has once again found herself on the wrong side, as one of her followers boldly attacked her online. The attack, which is now not new to her, was questioning her outfit, which according to the fan, is not right for someone in the gospel ministry.

Well, the issue started on Wednesday, 9th June where the woman in cloth took to her Facebook page to share with her followers some encouraging words. She picked the book of 1 Samuel 17:45-46 to drive her points home.

Using the story of David, she reminded her followers that while David’s brother were in the army, he was just a shepherd, looking after his father’s livestock.

She cited that even the champions are not born champions but they are made so at a day. The preacher explained that winners normally start from somewhere then fight their way up.

According to her teaching, winning is build on the previous victories. To be a winner, one need not to be disrupted by the opinions of the haters. Well, but understanding, the information was that encouraging. Nonetheless, something was not right somewhere, her dress.

One fan picked up fights with the preacher, citing the similarities between her army-like dress with those of the Ugandan musicians. On this, the follower questioned Rev Natasha’s sincerity, also asking what she takes her followers for.

Tanzanian actress Fridah Kajala has addressed viral images circulating online, which she says were digitally manipulated to harm her reputation and that of her daughter, Paula.

In a statement, Kajala clarified that the pictures were fabricated, explaining that her face and her daughter’s were superimposed on other people’s bodies.

She said that the pictures and videos have caused her so much pain, with people questioning her parenting abilities.
