Joseph Kinuthia alias Omosh is not a new name to both Citizen TV viewers and social media users. Omosh broke the internet in February this year when he pleaded with the public to come to his aid as in sustaining himself and his family.
The Tahidi actor’s name came to the public for the second time this year a few days ago after a video of him pleading help once more went viral on social media. However, this time many people have not been so enthusiastic to help.
Instead, netizens and various celebrities including Jalas have judged Omosh harshly claiming this time the actor should step in the streets and hustle like millions of Kenyans struggling to make ends meet.
But Omosh recently revealed that his struggle with alcoholism is the major cause of his financial mismanagement. Kinuthia told the Mount Kenya Star that having grown up in a family that almost all members consumed alcohol substance, his problem with alcoholism is rooted way past his life as a celebrity.
“While still a teenager in Nyeri County, I was already experimenting with alcohol due to peer pressure and the fact that I grew up in a society where many people including my relatives consumed various substances including alcohol. This made me want to try those.” Omosh revealed.
Although Joseph Kinuthia mentioned that he has sought assistance by visiting a rehab for three months in the past, we hope he will find all the help he needs to get back to his life.
