The Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) has moved with speed in creating various job opportunities after re-launching its brand yesterday.
The State owned Media Company’s confirmed that the ‘new look’ is aimed at creating opportunity for the young and upcoming journalist, bringing back veteran Journalist as well as enhancing diversity and competitiveness in the media industry as the company strives to remain relevant and resourceful in the changing waves in the field of Media.
The National Broadcaster has invested in both software and hardware that is expected to witness a good number of young people employed.
The editor chief, Samuel Maina said, “We will fully start broadcasting on High-Definition Technology unlike before where we used to Combine HD and SD”.
As a wisecrack, graduates and talented individuals in art courses including journalism and technology should consider sending their applications t KBC as soon as possible to secure a chance of exploiting their talents fully through the helps of experts dubbed ‘veteran journalists’ and others.
The revamped KBC would provide the much needed competition to other media houses more so offer opportunities to upcoming media practitioners.
